A research scientist and programmer at Agilent Technologies in Santa Clara, George also conducts the South Bay Philharmonic, plays oboe in local community orchestras such as Nova Vista Symphony, and manages various web sites. His professional work concentrates on mass spectrometry, especially software user interfaces and algorithms used in development of next-generation mass spectrometer instrumentation.
